Playdates with Kids, Don't Force Them Too Much
People who are good at playdates are really amazing.
At first, I thought, 'I have to do that too!' and tried to follow suit, but it wasn't necessarily the right way for me. I was exhaustedㅠㅠ
When moms try to become friends, don't the kids get awkward if they don't become friends with each other?
So these days, when my child says, "I want to play with OO!" I just have a playdate then.
It's more important to let children make their own friends and play comfortably. So now, I don't push myself too hard, and I wait for my child to naturally meet friends and build relationships in their own way.
Actually, my child and I are different.
Sometimes they get hurt if they can't play well in a group... In those cases, instead of forcing them to be friends, I try to help them find other friends or activities.
I read this and felt empathy, so I'm sharing it with other moms~
In the end, won't our children build better friendships on their own?
