Police have concluded that golfer Jesslyn Wijaya was not kidnapped. Jesslyn was taken by her mother and aunt to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur of her own volition. The case was initially reported as a kidnapping after Jesslyn disappeared from a restaurant in Central Jakarta on July 13. However, the reporter later withdrew their report. Nevertheless, police continued their investigation and found that the people who took Jesslyn were acting on behalf of her mother.
