In Gwangju, a 19-month-old baby fell into the water at Baekun Lake. Kim Kyung-ho (65) risked his life to rescue the child. He swam to find the baby and safely rescued him after 15 minutes. Kim's courageous act earned him the Righteous Person Award from the LG Welfare Foundation, and he decided to donate part of the prize money to underprivileged children in the area. Despite his own difficult circumstances, Kim selflessly practiced sharing for his neighbors. The donation was delivered to three vulnerable households in Cheonggye-dong.
