A satellite launch vehicle test in Taiwan failed, causing the rocket to deviate from its intended orbit. The rocket experienced anomalies in its initial flight path shortly after launch and crashed into a nearby mountainous area. The National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST) stated that it activated a self-destruction system to ensure the rocket crashed within the safety control zone. While there were no casualties or property damage from the incident, residents expressed concerns about safety as the rocket crashed in a mountainous area close to their village. NCSIST plans to analyze remote sensing data to investigate the cause of the initial orbit anomaly.
