The Democratic Party of Korea criticized the appeal of Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul, who argued for innocence in violation of the Political Funds Act. The party said that Mayor Oh denied the first instance guilty verdict as 'vague speculation' and focused only on legal defense, neglecting the livelihood issues of Seoul citizens. In particular, it emphasized that Mayor Oh Se-hoon needs to first show a sincere attitude of apology for the suspicions of political funds he has brought upon himself.
