The 83rd Venice Film Festival opened on September 2nd. This year's festival features 20 films competing for the Golden Lion award, including director Chang-dong Lee's 'Possible Love'. 'Possible Love' depicts the encounter between a laid-off worker couple and a documentary filmmaker couple. It marks director Chang-dong Lee's return to the Venice Film Festival competition section after 24 years since his film 'Oasis' (2002). 'Possible Love' competes for the award alongside works such as Hirokazu Kore-eda's 'Look Back' and Danny Boyle's 'Ink'. The Venice Film Festival will run until September 12th, with the closing ceremony and awards ceremony scheduled for the same day.
