The Korean women's national volleyball team under the age of 17 achieved two consecutive victories in the U-17 World Championships, taking a step closer to advancing to the round of 16. Korea, last year's Asian Championship winning team, defeated Taiwan 3-1. Son Seo-yeon, called 'Little Kim Yeon-kyung', led the Korean victory with 17 points, and Eo Min-seo also scored 10 points.
