Araghchi argued that the US has repeatedly made misjudgments due to intelligence failures in the past, and is now making a bigger mistake regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Hossein Taeb, commander of Iran's Basij militia, also insisted that the Strait of Hormuz remains under Iranian control and management, criticizing the US' attempts at war provocation. Trump claimed that Iran lacks a navy and air force and its economy has collapsed.
