It was a tough win..
The battery combination of Toltol and Juheon was really good.. It was similar to the pitching they did when they debuted at KB last year, and Juheon's ball catching and leading were amazing.. There were no useless pitches or wasted balls, and since Toltol pitched well, we were able to decide the game quickly. This also reduced the number of pitches and increased concentration.
Fortunately, Austin, Jeongbin, and Chan scored the first run in the 1st inning, and that score became the winning point.. In the bottom of the 3rd inning, when it became the second showdown, they completely changed the ball catching pattern and pitching pattern, and they also changed it during the third confrontation, blocking the scoring of our team's cleanup hitters. Then, when the pitcher changed, we got a chance, but Choi Won-young's unfortunate bunt play ended in no runs.
I thought it was fortunate that Choi Seung-min wasn't there, but Choi Won-young is starting to show that role..ㅠ
Still, I think they will continue to use him without sending him down to the second team.
Anyway, Toltol went down and a giant appeared on the field and saved the team with a reverse double play. It felt like watching an elementary school student and a college student high-fiving Shin Min-jae..ㅎㅎ
Anyway, we managed to keep the precious one point and secure the win.
Toltol + Lee Juheon's battery combination should be used as a fixed pair.. That way, Chamchi can rest a bit, right?
