A woman in her 30s, Ms. A, filed a report of dating violence, and police dispatched to the scene found about 40 syringes that appeared to have been used for drug injections inside her house. As a result of the police investigation, Ms. A was confirmed to have injected philopon, and both her urine and residue remaining in the syringes tested positive for philopon. Police indicted Ms. A on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act and plan to conduct further analysis and investigation to confirm the circumstances of philopon purchase, as well as sales and distribution channels.
